Last week, Drop The Lime and his lovely band graced the Echoplex stage for what may have been the most seductive Check Yo Ponytail yet. Both band and patrons alike dressed in their finest, ready to twist and jive to some of the finest music in town. Starting off with strong with Bosco Delrey and his Roy Orbison grunge and jumping straight into the high energy productions of MNDR, the venue managed to fill up early with people dancing close to whomever was near. Classixx provided a flawlessly smooth soundtrack filled with some of the finest house classics around, and was more than enough to keep the party moving strong. When Drop The Lime arrived up to the mic, joined by his lovely sidekicks, he thrilled us all as the opening croon from Devil’s Eyes has never sounded better.
Enjoy the recaps from last Tuesday and start getting ready for next week when we have the next edition of CYP2. Joining us will be the French/German pairing of Stereo Total, performing alongside Giant Drag, Batwings Catwings, Scarlet Cassanova, and Franki Chan. Tickets available here.
