There may be no “I” in team, but in the case of Sean Bowie, who needs anyone else. Under the moniker, Teams, Bowie creates a sonic collage of samples and noise that succeeds at fusing together the mentality and vibe of lost decades into a refreshingly crisp and focused modern production. With a contrasting sound that is both glitched out and sensual at the same, Teams reminds us that not everything technical has to be cold, and not everything modern can’t feel classic.
